Borrow - Use - Return
If you or someone in your group does not have a life jacket, you can borrow a life jacket(s) from one of the eight kiosks located along the Colorado River. Once your day float is done return the life jacket(s) to any of the kiosks for the next person to use.
••Please note that children under 13 must wear a life jacket legally.••
There is a statute that requires any canoe, kayak, paddleboard, sailboard, or non-motorized raft to be marked with the owner's name and address.
We are dedicated to making the river a safer place for those in our community. The infant, child, and youth sized life jackets are the most needed, and commonly stolen. Your donations help keep our community safer!
The Save-A-Life Jacket Program has been helping our community stay safer by providing loaner life jackets at kiosks along frequently floated sections of the Colorado River near Grand Junction, Colorado.
We are always looking for volunteers to help us make our organization better. We'll help you find a way to volunteer that best suits you.
We couldn't accomplish our mission without the help of supporters like you. Thank you for your time and donations that makes this possible!
